The Electric Owl is making a name for itself in East Van. Located in Strathcona just outside of Chinatown, this place is starting to book a good roster of bands from the west coast, and up and coming bands from all over North America. If you want to discover a new band, come here – there’s a good chance you’ll spend $15 to see a band play here, then have to spend $50 the next time they come to town.
