How can we not choose Queen Elizabeth Park? It’s big, it has frisbee golf, an observatory, fantastic views of the city, ample park space, and more. This is East Van’s version of Stanley Park.

Mt. Pleasant Park at Ontario and 16th has a great playground and a great crowd.

Prince Edward Park at Prince Ed and 22nd Ave has the always exciting water park – definitely a hit with kids during the hot summer months.

Grays Park in Kensington has lots to do: ball hockey, playgrounds, basketball courts, bowling greens, tennis courts, wading pool, picnic shelter and tons of grass to lay about.

Trout Lake Park is a hit in Kensington-Cedar Cottage area. Not only does it have a nearby community centre, but it has trails, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, rugby, tennis, a beach and more.

Norquay Park. This is a great Eastside park for the kids. It has a great little stream for the kids to play, a water park, a brand-new playground and two baseball fields. There is plenty of shade and amenities close by so the kids and parents are both happy.
