As I was scrolling through new listings today I came across this unit that I remembered being sold back in January, so I wanted to show everyone out there the before and after photos, and the possibility that every condo has to look great after a renovation!

This 1 bedroom condo in Mount Pleasant was renovated with smart decisions, modern finishings and great colours.

The condo renovation includes new flooring throughout, new lighting and new doors, in addition to some bigger changes in the following spaces. A renovation definitely takes work, know-how (or the money to pay someone), and the ability to make decisions! If you don’t have a good sense of design, talk to people who do. If you’re going to spend the money on a renovation, you want to make sure that it’s cohesive and appealing to the eye.

Condo Renovation – Kitchen

As you can see from the before and after photos below, a portion of the kitchen wall was removed to open up the kitchen to the living room and to create a small bar area. The backsplash was brought up the wall (I love that) and the cabinets are full height to give the owner as much space cupboard space as possible. The kitchen features all new appliances, cabinets and fixtures

Condo Renovation – Living Room

The living room never usually sees much of a chance, but in this instance they carried the flooring throughout, added new light fixtures and covered the baseboard heaters with something better looking (so smart!). These photos shows that good colours and a cohesive space can make a big difference.

Condo Renovation – Bedroom

The bedroom saw new flooring throughout, as well as updated paint, lighting and a great built in desk/shelving unit.

Condo Renovation – Bathroom

The bathroom also had a big change. It has new flooring, anew vanity and fixtures, updated paint, new toilet and a re-surfaced shower and tub (in essence, the shower/tiles were painted to look clean and modern).
