New Apartment Building Coming to Chinatown!
Though this East Vancouver development was announced in the summer (during the planning phase), we’re finally starting to get some more information. Currently a parking lot at 231 E Pender in Chinatown, this location will eventually be Framework, a new 60 unit residential condo building by Porte Developments – the same company who did Ginger at 718 Main St.
Floor plans, photos, and other information hasn’t yet been released for Framework. However, we can see from the building’s depiction that there will be covered patios, 7 to 8 floors and a few different styles of units. There will be retail on the ground level of the building – the stores, in particular, have yet to be determined.
Framework on 231 E Pender will be open for pre-sales early in 2014, with a completion date that is yet to be determined (will be late 2015 or 2016).
