Strathcona Street Party
This Saturday July 13, head down one of the most neighbourly streets in East Van to the Union Street Block Party. The residents of Strathcona are a tight knit group – really educated and interested in their neighbourhood. That’s the benefit of living in Strathcona, it’s a small community (with tons of history!) so people really bond together to do some cool things, like hosting an Annual Block Party!
Happening from 11am to 7pm, there will be fun for everyone. Offering live music, tons of neighbourly goodwill, flowing drinks and fun stories from people living in a great community. The Union Street Block Party starts around Princess and heads south, but you’ll know you’re there when you see all of the people. Given it’s community vibe, bring a dish of food to share. Offer to help volunteer to ensure the event runs smoothly. Spend some time outside meeting your Strathcona neighbours.
Some of the events scheduled include:
-
Noon – 12:30: Los Vagabundos
-
