I’m going to chose some of my favourite listings, from the condo, townhouse/duplex, and detached markets and let you know that they should be on your list if they’re within your criteria. Keep in mind, these picks are some of my faves, but they might not work for you and your situation! I’m choosing these because of the space, the price and the quality. This week’s listings take us from Mount Pleasant, to Victoria, to Commercial Drive.

My take: This unit offers a lot for under $500,000. The building is looking into increasing the number of rentals allowed so if you buy now you can take advantage of the increased value that brings.

My take: This is a great duplex – I’m a fan of the side by side since both units get some front and backyard space. I also appreciate the attached garage and driveway to give Owners a little more flexibility on use. Since this is brand new, the 5% GST is applicable on top of the sale price. The floor plan looks nice with some great flow. I anticipate the bedroom closet space to be fairly small but that’s common with these newer duplexes.
