The East Van townhouse and half duplex market remained really busy last month, with a high 46% sales to active ratio and increasing average and median prices (to the low to mid $800k’s). Take a look at the difference over last year – October 2014 has double the number of listings and a similar number of sales, which is indicative of how the market has increased.
Of the sales in this category last month, townhouses had an average price of $724,808 (keep in mind there are 1 bedroom townhouses available which brings down the average) while duplexes had an average price of $1,001,983.
There are a few new townhouse developments coming up for sale soon – one of which is called Hayden by inHaus Development. Contact us for more details on this project.
