ELLSWORTH CONDOS AT 2290 MAIN ST
If you’ve driven by the area, I’m sure you’ve seen the signs – Ellsworth Condo in a new development coming soon to 2290 Main St. This development was formerly called Focal, then was sold and bought by another development who rebranded to a building called Paragon, then was rebranded again to the current Ellsworth Condos Development.
If I had to guess, the project was postponed numerous times thanks to the increase in value in the land we’ve seen in the last few years, and the increase in value of completed units in that location. Given the interest in The Independent (more than half sold the first weekend it was offered for sale), the Ellsworth is sure to be a resounding success for the Developers.
The building itself will be located at 2290 Main St. It will consist of 10 storeys with 89 units in total. The Ellsworth will also have a communal rooftop patio, underground parking, storage and bike storage. Some units in the building will feature fantastic views of the city and Mountains (if they’re facing in the right direction).
The location of the building is fantastic. That stretch of Main St is only a few blocks south of Chinatown and the Science World Skytrain Station, it’s a few blocks north of some of the best restaurants, bars and shops off Main St and sitting in the middle of an area that should see a few other newer developments scattered amongst the breweries and bars.
