Professional Cycle Race Through Gastown
Head over to Gastown’s cobblestone streets on Wednesday July 9th for the Gastown Grand Prix by the Global Relay Group – a challenging, professional cycling race through the streets of Gastown. Visit the Global Relay website listed above for viewing tips, race information and more.
The event starts at 5:45pm with the opening ceremonies, but you’ll need to get there earlier since the streets fill up with lots of racing fans. Enjoy some coffee or drinks at one of Gastown’s unique cafes, and savour dinner at one of their many restaurants. If you know anyone with a great apartment in Gastown – give them a call, there’s a good chance they’ll have a great view of the action.
