THE BUILDING.
Saadat Enterprises Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a 6-storey mixed-use building. The proposal includes the following:
• retail on the ground floor and 18 multiple dwelling units on the second to sixth floors;
• 18,513 sq. ft. of floor area;
• building height of 74 ft; and
• two levels of underground parking accessed from the lane.
Under the site’s existing C3-A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
ELEVATIONS.
The lot faces North-South so plans are to maximize exposure and gain some fantastic views of Main St / East van landscape and the North Shore Mountains.
