The North- West Corner of Commercial Dr and Pender St is about to see another townhome project take shape.

THE FACTS.

Cressey (East Pender) Development has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on the site a four-storey mixed-use residential/commercial building containing:

    • two retail stores on the ground floor;
    • office use on the second floor;
    • a total of 10 secured market rental units and 31 dwelling units;
    • a total floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.23, approximately 55,326 square feet;
    • an overall building height varying from 46.42 feet – 49.67 feet; and
    • one level of underground parking providing 61 parking spaces, having vehicular access from the lane.

Under the site’s existing MC-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
