The East Vancouver townhouse and half duplex real estate market had a 34% sales to active atop amidst a 32% decrease in sales over last month. Average and median prices remained steady in the low-$700k’s. Entry level townhouses listed between $500k and $600k had the most interest, though 3 bedroom properties in general were snapped up by Buyers. The average price per soft increased to $545/sqft (up from $506/sqft at this time last year).
This market has seen a good influx of new units in the last few years, as developers try to meet the demand for family sized housing. These new developments often sell out before construction has completed.
