East Vancouver Townhome and Half Duplex Market Update
The townhouse and half duplex market in East Van saw the expected drop in activity over the holidays, with 26% fewer listings and 60% fewer sales. There was activity in every price point, with the $800k and up market performing well. This market is slowly increasing in price, which is pricing a few hopeful Buyers out of the market. East Vancouver is, and will continue to see, new townhouses and half duplexes built in the next few years. Many of these newer townhouse complexes have similar features, including 2 or 3 levels and a roof top patio (instead of a grassy backyard).

This home has 4 levels and almost 1600sqft with a detached garage, rooftop patio, and modern amenities. The home is located close to Commercial Drive location. Listed for $969,900 (+ 5% GST), this home sold for full price 50 days later.
